Local teen makes a splash with jewelry business

But two things set this 14-year-old Brockton High School freshman apart: a sharp eye for precious stones and the entrepreneurial insight to turn that talent into a profitable business.

Local filmmaker Bill Haney’s new documentary suggests that if they did, they would realize that sugar is not only a political landmine, but also quite literally a life and death issue.
